I'm listening to it now! Cool - electro version of "Peppermint" was a surprise!

i believe it's the 5th album (star lit sunken ship, the gutter and the garden, sleep with heat, i am the west, darklight)

Any impressions of the new album. It's pretty good.

I personally am not that fond of electronic music, but Cubby's lyrics and voice are amazing.
My first listen, I was a bit turned off -- rather hear the lead vocals over funky background sounds.

Same goes for the last few Tegan and Sara albums, speaking of which, Don't You Want It really sounds like a Tegan and Sara song, which I find amusing.

After a few more listens though, I like the new album a good deal. It's not my favorite of theirs, but still a good one.
